FLIGHTS

Providenciales is served by several major airlines and can be easily reached with direct flights from the U.S., U.K., Canada, the Bahamas, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and Haiti. Daily flights from Europe and South America to Miami can connect with flights to Providenciales on the same day. Several chartered flights are available from US cities.

Airlines flying to Providenciales (PLS) included:  American, Delta, Air Canada, West Jet, Jet Blue, United, Southwest, Virgin, and British Airways.  Schedules can vary based on season.

Note: A valid passport is required for travel to Turks & Caicos. Please contact your airline, travel consultant or http://travel.state.gov/passort for more details.

TRANSFERS TO THE RESORT

Transfers on the island are done via local taxi service. Upon clearing customs at the airport, just walk outside, and a ground transport representative will assist with getting a taxi. Airport taxis are typically van-style and can easily accommodate large parties with plenty of room for luggage.

The cost of transport to either resort is approximately $18-20pp* each way (based on a shared taxi).

*Taxi rates are government-regulated, while we do keep on top of occasional changes, if a change occurs there may be a few days delay before the new rate is shown on the website. Rates are based on a shared taxi with a minimum of 2 people. Single taxi cost may vary, please ask the driver in advance if a single taxi is required.

• Car Rentals – Available at the airport and on the island. Tropical Auto Rental is our preferred agency; their number is 649 946-5300.

• Excursion Trips – Most excursion operators will offer complimentary round-trip bus service. Check with the company you are booking with in advance.
• Bicycles – We offer complimentary adult bicycles. Take a tour of the Grace Bay Area!
• Dining & Shopping Shuttle – Enjoy exclusive access to our complimentary shuttle service designed solely for Ocean Club Resorts guests. This convenient shuttle stops at the lobbies of both OC East and OC West, providing easy and walkable access to local shopping, dining, and golf.

Nearby attractions and excursions include snorkeling, diving, canoeing, bicycling, banana boats, watersports, island buggy tours, and horseback riding.
Amenities for children include on-site watersports rentals, beach toys, board games, a video library, cribs, strollers, high chairs, baby monitors, and children’s menus. Children 12 and under are always free.

Seafari is an interactive environment exploration game. Upon check-in, each child is given a game kit. The kit identifies the various Indigenous plants and species that can be found onsite at the resort. The children then search the property, identifying what they found and where they found it. Prizes are awarded for completed searches.

2. Where are the resorts located in Turks & Caicos?
   Our resorts are nestled along the stunning Grace Bay Beach, just one mile apart. Grace Bay has earned global recognition, consistently ranking as one of the world's best beaches, including multiple wins in TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards as the No. 1 Beach in the Caribbean and a Top 5 Best Beach in the World.
   We’re conveniently situated near shops, restaurants, Royal Turks and Caicos Golf, and casinos, ensuring easy access to entertainment and essentials during your stay.
3. Do you have elevators, and can I request a ground-level suite for medical reasons?
   Ocean Club Resorts does not have elevators, but a limited number of ground-floor suites may be available for guests with medical needs. To check availability, please contact our U.S. Reservation team at 1(800) 457-8787 before booking.
4. May I make a specific room request?
   Due to the unique ownership of our resort suites and other operational considerations, we are unable to guarantee specific requests. However, we always strive to accommodate your preferences whenever possible to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.  Be sure to note any preferences at the time of booking.
5. Do you provide airport transfers?
   While the resort does not offer pre-arranged transfers, taxis are readily available upon arrival. Current fares range from $36 to $40 per trip for one or two passengers, with additional riders charged $18 to $20 each. Children typically pay half the extra adult fare. Simply hop in and enjoy the scenic 20-minute ride to the resort.
6. What time is check-in and check-out?
   To ensure your suite is carefully prepared for your arrival, check-in is 4:00 PM. Our spacious suites receive dedicated attention, including a final inspection by our manager to guarantee everything is just right.
   Check-out is at 11:00 AM, allowing us to provide the same level of care for the next guest. While we’re unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs (our dedicated housekeeping team appreciates your understanding!), we’re happy to securely store your luggage if you arrive early or wish to linger a bit longer. Feel free to unwind, explore, and enjoy the amenities while we put the finishing touches on your stay.
7. What complimentary amenities are included in your suite?
   Enjoy complimentary coffee, toiletries, dish soap, and laundry detergent in suites equipped with a washer and dryer. Plus, our daily housekeeping service ensures a fresh and comfortable stay.
8. What complimentary amenities are available on the property?
   Guests can enjoy access to our fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts, stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, beach towels, lounge chairs, and umbrellas. We also offer gas grills, bikes, books, WiFi, cable and smart TV, as well as a convenient shopping and dining shuttle.
9. Are you a family-friendly resort?
   Absolutely! We provide children's menus in our restaurants and child-friendly areas in our pools. Families can also enjoy complimentary amenities such as beach toys, cribs, pack 'n plays, rollaway beds, baby monitors, strollers, and high chairs—all at no extra charge.
10. Is smoking allowed at the resort?
    Smoking is not permitted in suites, on suite balconies, or in restaurants. In accordance with government regulations, smoking is prohibited within 25 feet of buildings, except in designated smoking areas.
11. What is there to do?
    Many of our guests say their favorite activity is simply unwinding and soaking up the serene atmosphere. If you're looking for adventure, there's plenty to explore—enjoy the beach, snorkeling, diving, fishing, horseback riding, parasailing, golf, and more.For those who enjoy nightlife, while Turks and Caicos isn’t known for its party scene, you’ll find a few nightclubs in the Grace Bay area, along with a casino conveniently located between Ocean Club and Ocean Club West. A must-visit event loved by both tourists and locals is the Thursday Night Fish-Fry!
12. Are there grocery stores or shopping nearby?
    Yes! The IGA Graceway Gourmet and three shopping areas are within walking distance of Ocean Club West. Guests at Ocean Club East can easily access these spots by taking the Shopping and Dining shuttle to Ocean Club West and walking from there. For everyday essentials, Ocean Club East also has a small on-site convenience store stocked with basic needs.
13. Do I need a car?
    It depends on your plans! If you’re visiting for a short stay and primarily looking to unwind, a car isn’t necessary. Taxis are readily available if you decide to venture out, and our complimentary shopping and dining shuttle offers easy access to local shops and restaurants from Ocean Club East and Ocean Club West.
    For longer stays, renting a car for a few days can be a great way to explore the island at your own pace. If you do choose to rent one, we offer complimentary parking for your convenience.
14. What is the weather like, and when is hurricane season?
    Turks & Caicos enjoys a warm and sunny climate year-round, with average temperatures ranging from 75°F to 90°F (24°C to 32°C). The ocean remains inviting, with water temperatures typically between 79°F and 85°F (26°C to 29°C). The islands are known for their abundant sunshine, averaging 350 sunny days per year, and relatively low rainfall.
    While the summer and early fall bring slightly more rain, showers are typically brief. Hurricane season runs from June through November, like the U.S., but historically, the islands have been minimally affected by major storms.
15. Do you offer wedding or group rates with catering and banquet facilities?
    Yes! We typically host weddings from June to mid-December and can connect you with one of our preferred wedding coordinators to explore your options. Group accommodations are available during the same period, and special rates may be offered for larger wedding parties or corporate events. Cabana Bar & Grille and Reef Rockers Beach Bar & Grille provide catering for intimate gatherings, while Opus features banquet facilities for up to 150 seated guests.

• To enhance indoor air quality and protect the well-being of our guests and others, Ocean Club Resorts has a No-Smoking policy in all suites and enclosed areas. A cleaning charge will be levied for any guest who does not comply.
• Suites have US outlets (110Volts).
• Transfers to the hotel are provided by taxis. A dispatcher will assist with the next available. The cost is approximately $18 – $20 per person, each way (based on shared taxi).
• Driving is on the left side of the road.
• The minimum age to rent a car is 24.
• A complimentary dining and shopping shuttle runs between Ocean Club and Ocean Club West – see the front desk for the shuttle and times of operation.
• Complimentary Wifi is available ensuite, and throughout the resorts..
• Each resort offers complimentary bikes, stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, fitness centers, beach towels, umbrellas, tennis and pickle ball equipment, poolside grills, roll-away beds, cribs, strollers, high chairs, child monitors, board games, beach toys, DVDs, a lending library, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap), and small shopping carts (for grocery pick-up).
• Rooms are not pre-assigned. Requests are taken in advance, and although we will do our best to accommodate, requests cannot always be met. Please notify us in advance if a ground-level room is required for medical reasons—we will advise at booking if this can be guaranteed. Please note that there are no elevators.
• All suites are equipped with hairdryers and safes.
• All suites have drip-style coffee makers, with coffee replenished as needed. Our coffee comes in pre-measured filtered packets. For guests who choose to bring their own coffee, we recommend packing filters as well. 
• Laundry detergent is provided in suites with washer/dryers.
• Dinner reservations are not required in advance unless booked during peak times: Holidays (Christmas/New Year), President’s Week, Spring breaks (March), and Easter.
• Most restaurants are casual, with only a few on the island having dress codes (for men, this can be pants and a collared shirt, and for women, a dress and nice shoes).

• 27% Tax Service is comprised of 12% Government Tax, and 15% Service Charge and Facility Fee combined
• The minimum age to check in is 21. At least one person over 21 must be in all rooms.
